These Rod Holders are designed for heavy duty bent butt tackle. They are 12 inches in length with a 2.25 inch diameter. We offer an optional 16 gauge Stainless Steel backing plate.

The swivel base allows your Rod to turn in the direction the fish is swimming; this is especially important when you have your Reel set with a heavy drag. This is an essential tool when fishing for giant Bluefin Tuna or the Grand Slam (Marlin, Billfish or Swordfish).

Stainless Steel Sidemount Rod Holders:
We have developed two new Stainless Steel Sidemount Rod Holders. The first is a standard size of 10 inches in length with a 2 inch diameter, which is designed to ensure the safe - but quickly available - storage of your pre-rigged rod.

The second is an Adjustable Torque Swivel Base Stainless Steel Rod Holder. This is a 12 inch unit with a 2.25 inch diameter. This design also ensures the safe and secure storage of your rod and reel, but with the added advantage (depending on mount position) of being able to setup for Trolling.

Gunwale Rod Holders:
The newest addition to our product line. They are available in zero (0) degree, fifteen (15) degree and thirty (30) degree models. Each is 10 inches in length and comes with a 2.0 inch or 2.25 inch diameter.

Our Gunwale Rod Holders have the same heavy duty polished flange found in our swivel base models.

This rigger is designed to extend your rod over the side of your boat for trolling, bottom fishing as well as electric reel deep bottom fishing for species such as Groupers, Snappers, Tilefish as well as other exotic fish. A world record exotic Spiny Cheek Scorpion Fish was caught using our rigger.
